The Solution Says...Note: (2 - 2x)3 = 8 - 24x...

The solution says...Note: (2 - 2x)3 = 8 - 24x -8x2 -8x3 .... But(2-2x)3 = -8x3 + 24x2 - 24x + 8...the answer arrived at is the same, but this part of the process iswrong is it not?

You are right. I do not know the problem, but your statement iscorrect and the solution is wrong on this point.

Well... when I did all my integration and followed through with mynumbers, i ended up with 1/10 as my answer anyways. The problem isas follows... SSSE xy dV (triple integral bounded by Eof xy dV) where E is the solid tetrahedron with vertices (0,0,0),(1,0,0), (0,2,0), (0,0,3). The answer I obtained was 1/10, whichcoincides with the answer in the back of the book and given onYougotmath.
