For the question I am doing, it asks to find the criticalnumbers of the function on the interval 0 ≤ θ<2Pi. Where f(θ)= 2cos(θ) + (sin(θ))2 I have found the derivative f'(θ) = -2sin(θ) + 2sin(θ)cos(θ) then factored to get 0= (2sin(θ)) (cos(θ) - 1) and gotten all the way to the end step where, sinθ = 0 and cosθ = 1 Now sin(θ) can equal zero at 0 and Pi. And cos(θ) can equal one at Pi/2 and 3Pi/2. The question gives two possible slots to type in the answer,saying θ = ? (smaller value) θ = ? (larger value) Is there not 4 answers within the interval of 0 ≤θ < 2Pi ?

Sinθ = 0, θ = 0 or π cosθ = 1, θ = 0 (not π/2, nor 3π/2)
